Senior Sprinkler Service Technician
The Senior Sprinkler Service Technician performs service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems independently. They diagnose deficiencies, conduct corrective repairs, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes. The role includes documentation, customer communication, guiding entry‑level technicians, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities- Perform service, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems independently.
- Diagnose system deficiencies and perform corrective repairs.
- Use hand tools and testing equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local codes.
- Accurately complete documentation and service reports on time.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members.
- Guide and support entry‑level technicians and apprentices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Travel to job sites as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in the fire and life safety industry as a technician.
- NICET Level II or above preferred.
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, service procedures, and applicable codes.
- Must have a clean driving record and an active driver’s license if driving is required.
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
- Lift 50+ pounds.
- Work in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
- Exposure to varying conditions such as heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
