Responsibilities
- Perform standard penetrometer testing operations including borings and geoprobes.
- Locate borings in the field.
- Record required drilling data.
- Report project‑specific issues to the project manager and/or supervisor.
- Perform drill rig and support truck maintenance; report repair and maintenance issues to the drilling supervisor.
- Follow company safety procedures and guidelines for maintaining a safe work environment for all crew personnel.
- Safely and accurately load drill rig and support vehicle each day with supplies; promptly and accurately complete time sheets and field paperwork.
- Care for and clean assigned company vehicles and drilling equipment and other assigned equipment.
- Maintain professional behavior and quality standards.
- Be willing to work out of town and on non‑standard work schedules when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- 0 – 3 years of experience.
