The Framing Technician is responsible for daily field review/updates, completion/quality inspections, and light framing punch when needed. The ideal candidate has residential framing experience, enjoys working in a team environment, is bi-lingual in English and Spanish, and is looking for a long-term opportunity with significant growth potential.

• Inspect residential framing products and companion products according to customer blueprints, local building code, company standards and project scopes/specifications
• Verify materials and equipment needed for installation projects
• Inspect appropriate materials and installation methods for assigned projects
• Perform safety inspections of crews, equipment, and maintain a safe organized work environment
• Accurately complete required paperwork and project documentation
• Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

• Minimum of 3 years of residential framing installation, crew leadership or project management
• Basic understanding of residential framing methods, construction tools, and job site safety practices
• Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, scopes of work, and project information
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing job site conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials in a physically demanding work environment (as needed)

• Full-time hourly position
• Company Vehicle and Fuel Card provided for required daily travel
• Eligible for Incentives after 90 days

Completion of prep work for needed materials per installation. Installation of product and companion products. Loads and unloads, completes safety checks and basic maintenance and care of trucks. Completes warehouse duties including stocking, inventory counts, cleanups, unloading of semi's etc. Handles job cleanup. Completes paperwork required for reporting time worked, materials loaded, returned inventory, used supplies, etc. Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program.

Some local travel required, no overnight travel.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one-on-one. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables and standardized situations.
