The Building Operations, Facilities Services delivers comprehensive electrical and mechanical support across assigned building portfolios, ensuring operational excellence and reliability. This hands-on role encompasses low/medium voltage power systems, HVAC operations and controls, mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance protocols, and emergency response coordination. You'll serve as a critical technical resource maintaining facility systems, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring seamless building operations that support JLL's commitment to creating exceptional workplace experiences.

This position combines technical expertise with customer service excellence, requiring availability for on-call emergency response to protect building assets and occupant safety.

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance including lighting system repairs, ballast and bulb replacement, HVAC coil cleaning, filter changes, and belt replacements to ensure continuous building operations
Execute general interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and completing special projects including painting and locksmith work
Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence assessments, documenting as-found conditions and reporting maintenance needs to the operations team
Respond to tenant service requests and perform minor plumbing repairs, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction
Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and materials as requested while coordinating with building occupants and operations teams
Support the operations team in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of building equipment and facility subsystems
Perform physically demanding work requiring frequent walking, climbing ladders up to 30 feet, working from heights, bending, kneeling, stooping, lifting up to 80 lbs, and working overhead with tools

Required Qualifications:

U.S. citizenship (required due to contract requirements)
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance
Demonstrated proficiency in basic HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems
Valid state driver's license
Physical capability to lift minimum 80 lbs and climb ladders (300-lb weight limit) while carrying a 20-lb tool bag
Availability for on-call duty to respond to after-hours emergencies

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of applicable technical training program in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or related field
Experience with building automation systems and HVAC controls
Knowledge of low/medium voltage power systems
Vendor management experience
Preventive maintenance program experience

08 Hour Day - 1st Shift/Morning Shift
