Accountant, Financial Reporting, Accounting & Finance

Overview

Accountant — Monday-Friday Full-Time, various shifts. Earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment and enjoy an excellent benefits package that includes our own employee resorts.

• Reconcile multiple cash accounts
• Prepare journal entries, monitor and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
• Reconcile and monitor various asset, liability, revenue, and expense accounts
• Assist with month end close procedures and reports
• Preparation of information and reports requested for annual audit
• Special projects as assigned by management
• Maintain work instructions and procedures for all tasks
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Provide and participate in cross-training as needed

• Bachelor s degree in accounting
• 5+ years of experience, with specific exposure to general ledger maintenance
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Professional level experience with Excel to compile and present data
• Experience with Oracle software (preferred)

• Communication proficiency, organizational skills, and written skills
• Detail oriented, ability to multi-task with adherence to deadlines
• Must be a dedicated team player with the willingness and desire to learn and grow within the organization
• Must be a highly self-motivated individual with the ability to function in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision and direction
• Microsoft Office Suite
