Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Special Education Case Manager starting with the 2026-27 school year. This vital role supports our special education, gifted, and preschool departments by managing student records, ensuring strict state and federal compliance (including IEPs and ETRs), and serving as a key liaison for our families, staff, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance & Reporting:
Tracking IEP/ETR timelines and running monthly verification reports. - Records Management:
Maintaining electronic and physical student files for transfers, enrollments, and graduates. - Program Support:
Assisting with preschool applications, gifted education data entry, and meeting coordination. - Administrative Tasks:
Handling purchasing requisitions, managing office files, and providing general department support.
A high school diploma is required (Associate degree preferred), along with strong organizational skills, proficiency in database/spreadsheet management, and a solid understanding of confidentiality and special education regulations. Experience in educational administration or records management is highly preferred.
