Senior Process Engineer – New Product Introduction
Make a Real Impact in Manufacturing
We’re seeking a hands‑on Senior Process Engineer to lead New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and drive innovation through the Stage‑Gate process
. You’ll ensure new products are production‑ready, collaborating with teams across R&D, Manufacturing, and Procurement to tackle challenges and bring ideas to life.
You will report directly to the NPI Engineering Manager and work out of our state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing facility in Wilmington, OH.
Your Role:
- Lead NPI projects from production trials to full‑scale launches.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure designs are ready for scalable, efficient manufacturing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long‑term improvements.
- Manage tooling development and oversee production scale‑up.
- Optimize processes to reduce costs and improve quality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field).
- 5‑7 years experience in engineering or product development.
- Expertise in process optimization, development, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage and execute projects while meeting key deliverables on time.
- Effective communication and documentation skills for cross‑functional collaboration and reporting.
- Proven ability to solve problems utilizing standardized tools while driving sustainable improvements.
- Up to 10% travel to support other manufacturing sites.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 in our lowest market up to $130,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
