Job PurposeThis position leads the branch’s efforts to proactively meet the client’s financial needs through our sales process, which focuses on a client‑centric, consultative sales approach. The role is responsible for uncovering, identifying, and delivering products and services that satisfy the client’s financial needs and exceed their expectations. This includes our consumer and business deposit and loan product lines, financial services, and partner products such as investments, insurance offerings, mortgages, and more.
It is a sales and leadership role that requires meeting branch and individual goals and metrics.
- Responsible for employee and business development.
- Manage a sales pipeline, achieve assigned goals, and surpass scorecard metrics both individually and as a branch.
- Turn service encounters into dialogue‑based meetings to uncover additional needs.
- Acquire, use, and maintain knowledge of consumer and business lending products to generate and execute lending and deposit products.
- Interpret documents such as safety rules, account documents, operating and maintenance instructions, compliance, loan documents, and procedure manuals.
- Support and lead branch staff in servicing clients and building a book of business focused on steady growth and consistent profit improvement.
- Proactively meet clients’ financial needs through the sales process.
- Utilize Salesforce for client and prospect interactions and sales activities.
- Make outside business calls to clients and prospects to acquire and retain business.
- Build and grow working relationships with partners.
- Lead regular sales meetings and well‑structured coaching sessions to provide balanced feedback with actionable items for individual and branch success.
- Work with the Regional Manager to assign goals, monitor branch progress, and make adjustments to achieve exceptional results.
- Manage day‑to‑day branch activities; develop, retain, and recruit high‑quality staff; maintain world‑class service levels.
- Establish an efficient, collaborative working environment based on continuous staff communication.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings to engage the team in branch performance.
- Conduct structured monthly or more frequent coaching sessions to provide balanced feedback with actionable items that ensure success.
