Since 2018, Hello Hero has served more than 15,000 children, parents, and caregivers, with nearly 80% of the population we serve covered by Medicaid. We are also one of the few organizations in the country providing behavioral health services to uninsured children at no cost.

Position Details

• Location: In Person - Wilmington, Ohio

• Schedule: School-day hours (aligned with student schedules) & virtual services

• Employment Type: W2 - Salary

• Availability: Full Time

This is an on-campus Therapist role supporting students and their families. You’ll be supported by clear workflows, structured onboarding, and dedicated internal support. The services will be provided in-person and virtually based on patient need.

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package designed to support both your professional growth and overall well-being. Depending on qualifications, schedule, and benefit elections,
the overall value of this position may be approximately $70,000 - $96,100 annually, including base compensation and employer-provided benefits. Easily achievable bonus structure with weekly payouts up to $10,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, and school-based mental health
• Provide evidence-based individual therapy, group sessions, and crisis intervention
• Conduct mental health assessments and treatment planning
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team - including school staff and outside providers
• Deliver services to both students and, when appropriate, their families
• Ensure documentation meets clinical and insurance billing requirements
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation within Hello Hero’s EMR

Scheduling

• Services are delivered during standard school hours (typically 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
• Scheduling is aligned with student availability
• Structured caseloads and scheduling support

Requirements

• Active Ohio licensure, required
• 1 year minimum experience, preferred
• Dependent and Independent licenses, accepted
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, MFT
• Reliable transportation
