Working under direct supervision of the Supervisor, Configuration, selecting from a variety of established procedures to accomplish assigned duties and responsibilities, the Technician 1, Configuration is responsible for upgrading, and configuring computer systems and other products ordered by customers, ranging from low to marginally complex complexity levels.

• Performs moderate to marginally advanced configuration jobs with minimal assistance from Senior Technicians and Leads while following work instruction documents.
• Ensures that hardware/software installed on customer’s system is compatible and at the desired version level.
• Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned.

• High School or equivalency.
• CompTIA A+ or ITF+ Certification (or must obtain within 6 months of hire date).
