OverviewWorking under general supervision of the Team Leader, Depot, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, the Senior Technician is responsible for upgrading, configuring, testing, troubleshooting and repairing computer equipment with an emphasis on a specific area of expertise. The Senior Technician is responsible for all aspects of improving team technical skills and performance. This position will provide training for their specific area of expertise to other technicians, serve as the principle technical advisor for that area, and conduct briefings and participate in technical and managerial meetings concerning both general operations and specific issues.
Responsibilities- Upgrade, configure, test, troubleshoot and repair computer systems, including servers with emphasis on a specific area of expertise. Install operating systems and other applications.
- Provide technical support to other technicians.
- Use advanced knowledge to prepare other technicians to gain new knowledge and achieve industry certifications.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Linux and Apple operating systems.
- Ability to read basic schematics.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Must meet all vendor training and certification requirements within their specific area of expertise.
- Goal of maintaining department quality numbers and minimal backlog.
- Ability to increase overall department productivity.
- Articulate and able to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication.
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail‑oriented with meticulous attention to accuracy and proofreading.
- CompTIA A+ certification; advanced industry certifications are preferred.

Full Time – $25.00 to $31.49 per hour.
