Chief Information Officer; CIO

Compensation: $300K-$375K (negotiable), bonus, benefits and other perks

Location: Wilmington, OH (onsite)

Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead enterprise technology across a large, mission-critical organization.

This executive will oversee an IT organization of approximately 550 professionals supporting more than 20 business units while driving enterprise technology strategy, innovation, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and digital transformation.

The company is a privately held transportation and logistics organization that provides nationwide freight and supply chain solutions.

• Develop and execute enterprise IT strategy.
• Lead infrastructure, software engineering, networking, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, business applications, data, help desk, and project management teams.
• Drive digital transformation and application modernization.
• Oversee cloud platforms and enterprise client-server environments.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of enterprise systems.
• Lead cybersecurity, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Manage enterprise infrastructure, networking, storage, telecommunications, and endpoint technologies.
• Partner with executive leadership to align technology with business objectives.
• Manage strategic vendors, contracts, and technology investments.
• Oversee multi-million-dollar operating and capital budgets.
• Establish KPIs and SLAs to measure organizational performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
• Experience leading enterprise IT organizations with 300+ employees.
• Strong background in cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, and software development.
• Experience leading enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting 24/7 business-critical environments.
