Trillium Staffing is seeking a Buyer in Wilmington, Ohio!

This Direct-Hire opportunity seeks a candidate with equipment and parts buying experience, ranging from Junior Buyer to more senior levels. This role supports the procurement of raw materials, equipment, tools, and parts within an FDA-regulated and ISO-certified environment. This is an onsite position only. Responsibilities include managing purchase orders, coordinating with production teams, maintaining vendor relationships, supporting budgeting, researching suppliers, resolving discrepancies, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Process purchase orders, manage delivery schedules and pricing, and coordinate with production to expedite parts.
• Support annual budgeting, monitor inventory pricing, and adjust vendor lead times, order quantities, and safety stock.
• Research products, source and vet suppliers, and maintain vendor relationships, records, and performance metrics.
• Work with quality to resolve non-conforming goods and participate in corrective action activities.
• Investigate and resolve receiving, inventory, and invoice discrepancies to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and contribute to continuous improvement efforts focused on quality, delivery, pricing, and PPV.
• Create and maintain Kanban systems and support additional purchasing projects as assigned.

Schedule is 1st shift / Monday – Friday / 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Salary is $55,000 – $65,000 DOE per year plus a 10% Annual Target Incentive.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Office 365, TEAMS, and related business software applications.
• Ability to interpret and work with data; analytics experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with engineering, machining, metals and plastics forming/fabricating, and electronics manufacturing practices is beneficial.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant major with at least three years of relatable work experience, or six years of direct supply chain, customer relations, and problem-solving experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Background in equipment and parts purchasing required.
