Join our Heavy Maintenance team as a Project Manager, where you’ll lead major aircraft maintenance projects from start to finish. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced aviation environment, enjoys collaborating across departments, and takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality work on time and within budget. You’ll guide teams, support customers, and ensure every project runs efficiently and smoothly.

Job Requirements:
  • Lead and supervise heavy maintenance project lines, including staffing, scheduling, coaching, and performance management.
  • Oversee day-to-day project operations to improve productivity, reduce rework, and optimize resource use.
  • Ensure all work meets FAA Part 145 repair station regulations and company safety standards.
  • Communicate with customers regarding schedules, added work, costs, and repair options.
  • Monitor project progress and review final invoices to ensure accurate billing.
  • Attend daily aircraft status meetings, pre-dock and post-dock reviews, and coordinate with QC and flight crews.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and identify potential hazards proactively.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 10 years of experience in aircraft heavy maintenance or modification.
  • 5 years of supervisory or lead experience in heavy maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, structural, and avionics systems.
  • A&P license.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Proficiency with basic office and maintenance-related software tools.
  • Working knowledge of FAA Part 145 regulations.
Preferred:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business or a related technical field.
  • Project Management certification.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting, and process improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma).
