Receiving Operator; M-F

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to safely unload inbound shipments of finished goods
• Maintain paperwork for all loads
• Verify that inbound shipments are damage‑free and match the packing list exactly
• Maintain clean and orderly conditions in the warehouse and loading areas using workplace organization methods (e.g., 6S)
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow all safety and equipment handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Pull all rail kitting components to be shipped to off‑site supplier
• Load trucks for outbound shipments of components
• Receive and unload the trucks of incoming rail kits from the supplier
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory of incoming rail kits
• Perform additional duties/tasks as assigned by supervision/management

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience operating material handling equipment
• Forklift Certification – either current or from prior work experience
• Strong decision‑making, analytical skills and proven ability to work cross‑functionally
• Strong attention to detail, reading, comprehension and good communication skills
• Must be self‑directed and motivated and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
• Basic computer skills preferred, including input of information into an ERP system on receiving and shipping processes
• Work schedule flexibility, with advance notice, to accommodate business needs

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
