Carry out the needs of production by following Standard Operational Procedures for die casting, quality inspections, and maintaining the performance of the die cast machine.

Responsible for achieving daily production targets and ensuring part quality meets customer requirements.

• Demonstrates all essential duties & responsibilities
• Starts up and shuts down die casting machines
• Trims parts using a wire wheel, hand file, or other hand tools
• Maintains the performance of the die cast machine by connecting water hose to the cooling system, preheating dies using a torch or electric heater, cleaning the inside of the die and pit area, replacing ladles, cleaning, and maintaining 5S
• Performs inspection of cast parts: visual and with quality gauges
• Moves baskets with a powered pallet jack
• Independently performs Q‑time checks to standards
• Understands part flow within the process and can identify abnormal process conditions
• Completes AGSS process loading, tag printing, and inputs NG scrap parts into the AGSS system
• Fills out daily production reports, ensuring downtime issues are recorded with a description and correct downtime code, and also records reject quantity and description
• Transfers daily production report information to the production board
• Completes segregation, following the standard segregation procedure when abnormal conditions create non‑conforming products
• Performs safety device systems, equipment safety checks, and follows lock‑out procedures (Stop, Call, Wait)
• Maintains good housekeeping

Carry out the needs of production by following Standard Operational Procedures for machine operations, quality inspections, and packing standards.

Responsible for achieving daily production targets and ensuring part quality meets customer requirements.

• Demonstrates all essential duties & responsibilities
• Independently performs Q‑time checks to standards
• Understands part flow within the process and can identify abnormal process conditions
• Completes AGSS process loading, tag printing, and inputs NG scrap parts into the AGSS system
• Completes AGSS tag canceling, load returns, corrective printing, and reprinting when actions are necessary
• Fills out daily production reports & counter confirmation sheet, ensuring downtime issues are recorded with a description and correct downtime code, and also records reject quantity and description
• Transfers daily production report information to the production board
• Completes segregation, following standard segregation procedures when abnormal conditions create non‑conforming products
• Knows safety device systems, performs equipment safety checks, and follows lock‑out procedures
• Maintains good housekeeping, keeps the work area clean, and practices basic 3S activities

• Able to stand in one place for 8 hours
• Able to lift at least 35 pounds repetitively
• Able to bend, twist, and perform repetitive motion

July–September: 4 hours × 5 days per week or 8 hours × 3 days per week.
