Hours: 6:45PM to 7AM 2/2/3

Pay Rate: $21.50 plus a 10% shift premium!

This position is eligible for a $3,000 Bonus!

$1,500 at 3 Months!

$1,500 at 6 Months!

Job Summary

The Blending Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring blending systems to ensure raw materials are distributed accurately and efficiently to support production. This role works closely with production teams to maintain quality standards, meet customer demands, and support continuous plant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain material levels within silos using computerized blending systems.
  • Operate blending equipment and make adjustments to material distribution as needed.
  • Communicate with production teams to ensure blending requirements support scheduling and operational goals.
  • Conduct visual inspections of material bins to ensure adequate inventory levels throughout the shift.
  • Transfer materials between railcars, silos, and production areas.
  • Perform quality inspections on incoming raw materials.
  • Ensure dust and regrind materials are properly stocked at bag and dump stations.
  • Receive, sample, and stage raw material trailers in designated locations.
  • Unload wood flour trailers and maintain cleanliness of unloading and storage areas.
  • Operate a yard truck to move trailers throughout the facility, including loading and unloading stations.
  • Complete inventory counts and maintain accurate material and production records.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of manufacturing, production, material handling, or blending experience
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment
  • Flexible schedule to meet business needs
Preferred
  • Experience operating mechanical equipment such as:
    • Rotary air locks
    • Diverter valves
    • Mac valves
    • Knife gates
  • Experience moving trailers using a yard truck
  • Previous experience with computerized blending systems

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, and lift throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, yard trucks, and material handling equipment
