Work Schedule- Part-Time (48 hours bi-weekly)
- Day shift from 7AM – 7PM
- Weekend and holiday rotation

Job Requirements- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
- New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
- BLS/CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
- Registered Nurse
- Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex health care needs at various stages of the life cycle.
- Preferred membership in related professional organization.
- RNs with more than 1 year full-time or 2 years part-time acute care experience.
- Preferred certification in specialty.
This position applies the nursing process in providing direct and indirect holistic care to patients and their families. The position collaborates collegially with physicians and other health care team members to meet patients’ needs. Delegation of certain aspects of care to supervised staff may be performed within the scope of nursing practice.
Job Responsibilities- Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patient and family, completes assessment tools, documents findings, communicates assessment to providers, provides health counseling and teaching, plans care based on assessment, initiates patient care guidelines, updates plan, develops short- and long-term goals, communicates plan to others.
- Provides a safe therapeutic environment, maintains patient autonomy, dignity, and rights, seeks resources for ethical decisions, balances patient and unit needs, recognizes emergencies, completes patient assignment and documentation, bases interventions on data, trains staff, acts as expert resource, and communicates physician orders.
- Evaluates plan of care based on outcomes, documents patient/family response, collaborates with team to revise plan, and supervises delegated care.
- Performs technical skills per policy, administers medications and treatments safely, monitors effects, uses equipment appropriately, demonstrates self-improvement, acts in relief charge or resource role as requested, maintains current knowledge, and demonstrates knowledge of organizational changes.
