Combo Driver

Essential Functions

Orders, delivers, stocks and rotates all products at customer locations according to established standards.
Invoices customers for sales, collects payment from customers (e.g. check, cash, money order) and secures payment in safe.
Maintains a good working relationship with customers; accounting and TDMs/VCMs at Pepsi; and other internal employees at Pepsi (e.g. warehouse employees, sales equipment employees).
Communicate with retailers and Pepsi management team on issues regarding pricing, products, programs and problems that arise in the store.
Responsible for the proper accounting of all products, shells and pallets (e.g. shells and pallets accurately accounted for and returned to facility).
Adheres to all company policies, standards and procedures (e.g. OSHA, DOT and safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local laws).
Maintains and completes required paperwork (e.g. DOT logs, Missed Time Verification forms, time off requests, mileage logs, sales reports, invoices); maintains confidentiality of product pricing, customer key locations and other sensitive information.
Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.

Experience

12-24 months of previous sales experience with a consumer product line and customer relations experience.

Additional Requirements

Employees must be insured to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment.
Must have completed training through the Utility Trainee Pool and currently be on a Combo Delivery or have had a minimum of twelve months previous experience on a Full Service, Tel-Sell, Combo, Express Delivery route.
Must be able to lift up to 50-100 pounds manually in a repetitive motion; and be able to push/pull up to 300 pounds
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle and feel, reach with hands or arms, stoop, crawl, kneel, crouch, climb, talk, hear, push, pull and lift overhead
Cannot have corrective action items, either current or in the past twelve months
Operate a motorized pallet jack and walkie rider
