Automation Mechanical Technician

Job Summary:

The Automation Maintenance Technician
is responsible for inspecting,maintaining, and repairing automated machinery, electrical/mechanical equipment, and production systems to ensureoptimalperformanceandadherencetoqualityandsafetystandards.

Thisrolesupportscontinuousproduction by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with senior technicians and engineers to enhance equipment reliability.

• Inspectautomatedmachinery,equipment,andsystemstoidentifyissuesandensurefunctionality.
• Calibrate,troubleshoot,andperformmaintenanceonvarioustypesofelectricaland mechanical equipment.
• Abilitytoprioritizeandself-schedulemaintenanceworkaroundproductionactivities.
• Ensurequalitystandardsarealwaysmet.
• Assistintheassembly,installation,andmaintenanceofautomatedsystemsaccordingtospecifications.
• Collaboratewithseniortechniciansandengineerstotroubleshootandresolvemechanicalissues.
• Conductroutinemaintenanceandqualitychecksonautomatedsystemstoupholdstandards.
• Assistinthe developmentandimplementation ofpreventativemaintenanceprocedures.
• Assistin planning and scheduling repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintainaccurateinventoryrecordsforequipmentandsupplies.
• AdheretoGMP(currentGood Manufacturing Practices ),safetystandardsandpoliciestomaintaina safe working environment.

• Strongknowledgeofautomationsystems,includingprocesscontrol,instrumentation,and servo-driven systems with ladder logic.
• Proficiencyincalibrating,troubleshooting,andmaintainingelectricalandmechanicalequipment.
• Abilitytoprioritizeandschedulemaintenancetaskseffectivelyaroundproductionactivities.
• Strongmechanicalaptitudewithproficiencyinusinghandandpowertoolsfor maintenance and repairs.
• Excellent problem-solvingabilitieswithkeenattentiontodetail,especiallyinensuring quality standards.
• Effectivewrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsforreportingissuesandcollaborating with team members.
• Abilitytoworkindependentlyand collaborativelyinateamenvironment.
• FamiliaritywithcGMP(currentGood Manufacturing Practices ) andsafetyprotocolsto ensure a safe working environment.
• Willingnesstocontinuouslylearnandadapttonewtechnologiesandprocessesin automation and mechanical systems.

• Vocational/Tradetrainingoranassociate's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
• Aminimumof2yearsofexperienceinanindustrialormanufacturingenvironment,with hands-on experience in automation and mechanical systems required.
• Experiencewithpreventativemaintenanceprogramsandautomationtroubleshootingpreferred.

Thispositionisscheduledonafull-timebasis.

Specificshifttimesandworkdaysaredeterminedbythe operation and may vary by location. Business needs may require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as occasional overtime. Scheduled start and end times, assigned shifts, andworkdays are subject to change based on staffing and operational requirements. Wheneverfeasible, advance notice of schedule changes will be provided.

Positionsinourproductionfacilitiesmayleadtoregularexposuretocannabisplantmaterial,dust,and other potential allergens. Individuals with sensitivity to pollen, molds, or strong odors may experience discomfort. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required.

• Abilityto lift andcarry heavy objectsup to 75pounds.
• Comfortableworkinginenvironmentswithexposuretonoise,dust,heat,coldandother industrial elements.
• Abilitytoworkinawarehouseenvironmentwithvariabletemperaturesandhumiditylevels.
• Willingnesstoworkflexiblehoursandoccasionalovertimeasneeded,including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• Mustbeabletostand,walk,bendover,andpickupitemsandhaveconstantmovement for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to lift, push, kneel, and pick up items, both small andlarge.
• General cleaning of locker rooms, bathrooms and high traffic areas.
• Capabilitytooperateheavymachinerysuchaspalletjacksandforkliftssafelyandefficiently.

• This position will require intermediate travel between Wilmington, Ohio and Cincinnati, Ohio.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and own vehicle required
