Mechanic (Diesel)
Wilmington City Schools, Clinton County, Ohio, is seeking a Bus Mechanic for our Transportation Department. The position involves maintaining a fleet of 28 diesel school buses, 7 student vans, 6 service trucks and pick‑ups, box trucks, and 5 trailers. The district includes one high school, one middle school, and two elementary schools.

Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair of diesel school buses and supporting vehicles.
- Document repair work and maintain accurate paperwork.
- Provide excellent attendance and availability for occasional weekend and evening service calls.
- Assist with bus inspections and route assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a bus mechanic and in inspections.
- Holder of a CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements.
- A.S.E. certification.
- Reliability and willingness to drive bus routes when required.
Salary: Determined by relevant experience and local CBA agreement.
