Pool Adjunct Instructor - Chemistry

Position: (Pool) Adjunct Instructor - Chemistry
Wilson Community College is seeking to expand our pool of part-time/adjunct faculty for when a job is available to be filled for clinical or class instruction. These positions may or may not be available at this time; however, after a review of qualifications, applicants may be contacted in the future. Part-time/adjunct faculty provide quality, effective instruction in assigned courses on a part-time, temporary basis.

Adjunct/Part-time Instructor to teach a variety of chemistry courses to include organic and biochemistry and general chemistry.

Essential Duties:

To teach assigned online, day, and/or evening classes; maintain and submit accurate attendance; maintain accurate academic records, such as syllabi and grades; submit required forms and documents in a timely manner. Maintain consistent communication with students and supervisor.

Education and Experience:

Candidate must have at least a Master's degree in chemistry or a master's degree and at least 18 graduate hours in chemistry. (Required)

Three to five years of teaching experience and experience with online instruction is preferred.

Experience with Moodle is preferred.
