Speight Middle School is seeking a passionate, student-centered Middle School Math Teacher to join our dedicated team for the upcoming school year. We are looking for an educator who believes all students can succeed, builds positive relationships, and creates engaging learning experiences that inspire confidence and achievement in mathematics.

Position Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based mathematics instruction aligned with the North Carolina Standards.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Utilize student data to guide instruction and improve academic outcomes.
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes student success.
- Collaborate with grade-level and content-area teams to support school improvement initiatives.
- Participate in professional learning and contribute to the school's collaborative culture.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Four Year Degree in Mathematics or related field.
- Valid North Carolina teaching license (or eligibility for licensure) in Middle Grades Mathematics (Grades 6–9) or equivalent.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Commitment to student growth and continuous professional learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
