We are seeking a dedicated classroom teacher to join our vibrant learning community in Reservoir North. Candidates must have an ability to plan, work and learn in a team environment. They must also have excellent classroom management skills and have a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.
Salary: $79,589 - $118,063 pro rata, based on experience in accordance with the Teacher scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).

- An understanding of the MACS 2030 Strategy, including the MACS Vision for Instruction and Vision for Engagement.
- A passion for teaching and building strong relationships with students
- The ability to lead the learning in the classroom including principals of explicit instruction e.g. retrieval and review, checking for understanding and provision of purposeful feedback etc.
- An ability to foster a classroom culture where mistakes are seen as valuable learning opportunities
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to working with our school community to improve student learning outcomes
- Knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and evidence-based teaching practices
- The ability to plan and implement engaging learning experiences for all students
- Proficiency in the use of technology to enhance student learning
- Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school, or a commitment to undertake this study in the future
- A willingness to comply with the school’s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct
- St Joseph the Worker promotes the safety, well‑being, and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children.
- The successful applicant will hold the current Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
- Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification
