Location: Level Up Academy
Position Type: Part-Time
Salary: up to $25 per hour
Qualifications and Licensure- Associate’s Degree or a minimum of 48 semester hours of college credits
- Experience providing academic, behavior, and/or social/emotional resources or support for students
- General knowledge of various subject areas
- Technology proficiency and knowledge of digital learning may be required for specific assignments
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable
- Utilizes student data and observations of student work to determine student needs
- Implements daily intervention lessons that are based on student need and the NC Standard Course of Study
- Facilitates engaging small group instruction for students
- Maintains open communication with the student's regular classroom teacher and parent/guardian to ensure student needs are being met
- Maintains records of student progress, attendance and behavior
- Uses effective classroom management strategies to create a safe, positive learning environment
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
