Position: Construction Management- Electrical and I&C WPO (LSNA-NC)

Responsibilities
  • Host weekly meetings with the subcontractor and take suitable notes. Align with the Subcontract Administrator to ensure all items are captured accurately. Distribute meeting minutes to attendees.
  • Ensure that the subcontractor has the latest version of all technical documents, including single lines and specifications, and other construction installation drawings.
  • Review all RFIs and submittals, assuring completeness prior to subcontractor submission.
  • Monitor the return of RFIs and submittals from the subcontractor, and expedite assistance from engineering disciplines as required.
  • Visit subcontractor fabrication shops as required to expedite material deliveries and verify work in progress.
  • Work with Construction Management and the field superintendent to ensure material deliveries are sequenced and coordinated.
  • Monitor the subcontractor’s schedule on a weekly basis and escalates any issues to the ACM and Subcontracts Administrator; work closely with the field superintendents and project controls to track progress measurements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 10 years of experience managing construction projects related to Life Science and/or Pharmaceutical Production Facility Construction.
  • Strong working knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building, and client relationship building.
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of EI&C Systems, including Delta V, BMS, and Medium Voltage.
  • Experience leading contractors and superintendents for the current scope, engineering information, and drawing/specification documentation for construction execution.
  • Ability to manage EI&C scopes of work from the initial bid phase through execution, turnover, and close‑out of the subcontract.
  • Experience monitoring project budgets to ensure project requirements are met.
Ideal Additions
  • Ability to work with Engineering and Subcontracting to develop scopes of work for EI&C related bid packages.
  • Liaise between the Subcontracts Department and Engineering, assuring that all engineering requirements are met as they relate to the bid phase process and any changes or additions to the bid phase documents.
  • Work closely with the Subcontracts Administration team to identify bidders.
  • Attend any pre‑bid, clarification, and post‑bid meetings.
  • Develop a comprehensive Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), including risk, sustainability, and schedule input.
  • Ensure technical bids conform to the intent of the bid, including identification of gaps and any scope exceptions.

Salary range: $ to $. Base pay within the range is determined by work location and additional factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
