Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Wilson, NC.
Responsibilities- Work in a single-lab Cardiac Cath Lab at a 294-bed, Joint Commission Accredited hospital in Wilson, NC
- Adult and geriatric patient population with common diagnoses including CAD, PAD, NSTEMI, PE, and DVT
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Equipment includes GE Innova X-ray and Merge Hemo
- Meditech EHR — experience preferred
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch
- Every other weekend required
- Float requirement to Interventional Radiology per facility policy
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures with exposure to PCI and peripheral interventions in a fast-paced single-lab environment
- Scrubs are provided
- Orientation is conducted bi-weekly
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates must not be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
- COVID vaccination card required
- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- Current ACLS required; RRT or RCIS required
- Rad Tech or RCIS education/credential required
- License required if applicable
- Proficiency in Cath Lab scrubbing required; PCI and peripheral intervention experience preferred
- Must be able to work with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- RQI certifications are not accepted
- Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
