Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible to provide technical leadership in machine design, process and operational efficiency for high speed aseptic filling and packaging technologies. The incumbent optimizes equipment layout, providing subject matter expertise for new product or process technology while ensuring cGMP compliant manufacturing.

Salary Range: $60,966 - $85,694

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Principal activities performed by the incumbent.

• Provide on-going technical support for manufacturing operations after project installation.
• Drive technical advancement, solving problems and unique challenges.
• Contract specialty vendors, actively partnering with vendors to implement design specifications, install and or refurbish manufacturing and packaging technologies.
• Identify and implement shop-floor continuous improvement (CI) projects.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (OEE, CI, Lean implementation) across the manufacturing function.
• Optimize equipment and process functionality.
• Drive cGMP compliant equipment design and alter existing design using AutoCAD.
• Implement control systems, PLC programming of highly automated manufacturing technologies.
