Welder II; TIG - 2nd Shift

Position: Welder II (TIG) - 2nd Shift
Raytheon - 4200 Airport Drive - Responsibilities:
Set Up and Operate Welding Equipment:
Position parts in jigs or fixtures, select appropriate welding tools and materials, and set up welding equipment according to technical drawings and WPS parameter ranges;
Perform Welding Operations:
Execute manual, semiautomatic, mechanized, and automatic GTAW welding operations on various thin-gauge materials including 4130 steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium;
Inspect and Repair Welds:
Examine welds according to visual weld inspection and commercial quality criteria;
Follow Safety and Compliance Standards:
Adhere to company rules and regulations, including Environmental Health and Safety, Ethics, and International Trade Compliance; maintain a clean work area;
Support and Train:
Assist in training other welders, plan and perform a variety of welding operations, interpret technical documents, and use computer-controlled welding equipment as needed
