Group Leader, Manufacturing

Job Summary

The Group Leader provides direct daily guidance to 10‑20 associates regarding day‑to‑day operations, ensuring all cGMP and quality standards are met by following work instructions, SOPs, and batch records.

Hourly range: $20.49 - $30.21. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

• Day‑to‑day direction of 10‑20 associates
• Coordinate scheduling and cleaning in collaboration with other departments (quality assurance, chemistry, microbiology, engineering, validation, production planning, etc.) and direct manager
• Complete all documentation promptly and in a cGMP‑compliant manner
• Initiate work orders to maintain equipment and facilities
• Conduct all operations safely and compliantly
• Train new and existing employees on responsibilities and SOP changes, maintaining training compliance
• Coordinate finished goods handling, cleaning, hold times, sampling and delivery to the laboratory
• Communicate early to supervisors on potential scheduling or production issues
• Coordinate routine cleaning of all weighing, compounding, filling, and associated areas
• Collect and track production data daily
• Identify, coordinate, and complete continuous improvement projects in the area of responsibility
• Complete SAP transactions
• Assist with investigations within the area of responsibility
• Reconcile and review batch records
• Perform additional duties as directed by manager
