Reporting to the MP& L Manager, the Inventory Control/Cycle Counter is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory at the plant as well as offsite locations.
Responsibility:Perform Daily Cycle counts.
Providing root cause for inventory that does not meet standards.
Implementation of earn labels and barcoding throughout the plant.
Assist all departments with Production reporting as needed.
Work with all departments on process improvements as it relates to production reporting and inventory accuracy.
Analyze PRP/MRD system and problem solve .
Participate in continuous improvement teams assigned by the manager .
Work with all Departments to resolve issues.
5s work area.
Lead year-end activities – inventory and ACCUMS adjustment.
Follow all safety and environmental guidelines for the plant.
Other duties as assigned.
Academic/Educational Requirement :Experience with MS Office and MRP/ERP system (Plex) and maintain the system when errors occur.
Knowledge of quality control systems and standards .
Strong understanding and working knowledge of Inventory Control.
3 + years proven experience as Cycle counter, preferably in an automotive setting.
Required Skills/Experiences:Strong analytical skills, ability to gather, interpret, and analyze information.
Ability to take initiative, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.
Ability to prioritize.
Must be able to write and complete required paperwork.
Must have basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
