Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

12-hour shifts - 36-40 hours per week

Wilson Immediate Care provides services for a wide variety of needs including care for sudden and ongoing illnesses, minor acute injuries, MRO services, on-site X-Ray and lab services, and more. Our physicians have a combined 80+ years of experience and all are board certified in Internal or Family Medicine.

How you'll contribute

A Licensed Practical Nurse who excels in this role is responsible for assisting the MD/NP in providing direct patient care, including but not limited to:

* Obtaining/updating patient's medical history, vital signs, height, weight etc.

* Equipment preparation

* Scheduling of appointments and procedures ordered by the provider

* Obtains insurance pre-authorizations as required for testing and scheduling

* Provides direct patient care as delegated by the physician within the scope of practice

* Complete all documentation in a timely manner

What we're looking for.

Applicants should have a current state LPN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

* Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
