Acute Care Nurse Coordinator Full Time Nights
The Acute Care Nurse Coordinator Full Time Nights position supports complex adult patients on the Acute Care Medicine unit, which is a fast‑paced Medical‑Surgical and Acute Care Inpatient environment. The role functions during night shifts, ensuring seamless bed flow and rapid admissions while maintaining high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
Reporting to the Acute Care Medicine Nurse Manager and working closely with the Nursing Director and house supervisor, the coordinator will guide staffing and assignments, oversee admissions, transfers and discharges, drive throughput, champion safety and Just Culture, and coordinate rapid response and escalation pathways. The coordinator will mentor bedside RNs and CNAs, support new graduate onboarding, and help elevate experience scores.
