Our 22-bed Med Surge unit is split onto two floors with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6 and is staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Patient Sitters providing care for a variety of patients including those on dialysis, diabetes, heart disease, geriatric patients, and recovering surgical patients.
Responsibilities- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.
- Multiple levels of medical, dental and vision coverage; medical plans starting at just $10 per pay period.

- Current state RN license and nursing degree from an accredited program.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- New grad RNs welcomed; 1 year RN experience preferred.
