Job Description - Supervisor‑RN‑Emergency Evenings (7462‑2181)

Under the general supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer/Nursing Services and direct supervision of the Director of Clinical Services Emergency Department / Critical Care Division, manages the operations of the Nursing Unit from an operational and personnel activities standpoint. Work is of a highly‑confidential nature. Performs other work of the Department and is responsible for assigned sections on a 24‑hour basis.

• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
  Three to five years of professional ED nursing experience required and four years of direct Ed.
• The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• CPR certification required and provided.
