RN - OBGYN

Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery / OB/GYN Location

Wilson, NC

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with rotating weekend requirements.

The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients in the Labor & Delivery and OB/GYN departments, managing a range of patient needs including those related to maternity care and general medical-surgical overflow. This role entails working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in Labor & Delivery and postpartum units.
• Assist with deliveries, including cesarean sections, as required.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on maternal care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records.

• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, NRP, ACLS, and completion of a fetal monitoring class within the last 2 years.
• Meditech experience is preferred.
