Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location:
Wilson, NC
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Shift: 07:00 - 19:30. Weekend
Hours:
12 hours (Every other or Every Third weekend).
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing with an emphasis on critical thinking and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and interpret EKG readings.
- Manage admissions and discharges.
- Administer medications and manage cardiac drips.
- Provide care for adult and geriatric patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in telemetry.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred.
- Meditech experience preferred.
