Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Travel)

Wilson, North Carolina

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed | Rotating every other weekend

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit following AWHONN staffing standards, with potential simple med/surg overflow as needed
• Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections performed on the unit
• Monitor and assess fetal status using electronic fetal monitoring equipment (GE Centricity/Meditech)
• Care for postpartum and OB/GYN patients with patient ratios up to 6:1 (typically 3–4:1)
• Participate in minimal on-call requirements and float within the unit for low-census situations
• Collaborate as a team player within a Joint Commission Accredited facility offering a full range of women's health services

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Fetal monitoring class completed within the past 2 years

• Experience circulating in the OR for Labor & Delivery/cesarean sections
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health record system
• Experience with OB/GYN and postpartum patient populations

• Work at a Joint Commission Accredited facility located approximately 45 miles east of Raleigh, with easy access to major universities, the NC coast, and recreational destinations
• 13-week travel contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week in a supportive, team-oriented women's health unit
