Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical unit. This role requires strong clinical skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The nurse will provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients, manage telemetry nursing responsibilities, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care based on established nursing standards and practices.
- Monitor and manage patient health, including conducting assessments and administering medications.
- Work effectively within the medical team, including floating to different departments as needed.
- Ensure accurate documentation and electronic health record management using MEDITECH.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Active RN License.
- BLS Certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
- Experience with MEDITECH preferred.
