Registered Nurse (RN) – Nursery – Wilson Medical Center (Variable - PRN, In-person)

Wilson Medical Center is part of Lifepoint Health's community-based care network. The Nursery teams provide comprehensive care to well-babies and a 2‑bed level II nursery that serves newborns greater than 32 weeks' gestation. The unit cares for over 800 newborns annually.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
• Perform timely and appropriate documentation of medical necessity in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.

• Current state RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Compassionate nurse with deep understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.
