Join our 18‑bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The unit is staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and operates with a 1:2/3 nurse‑to‑patient ratio. Patients treated include ventilated patients, continuous BiPAP, vasopressor drips, DKA on insulin drips, ETOH on CIWA, and mixed intermediate care. The role offers an opportunity to work in a newly opened unit that is very spacious and bright.
Responsibilities- Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
- Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
- Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
- Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
- Performs timely and accurate QI assessments
- Licensed RN in the state with a current state RN license
- Degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
- 1‑2 years of Med/Surg experience preferred
