Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L/D)

Wilson, NC | Acute Care

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Travel

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit, including triage and recovery, following AWHONN standards for patient ratios
• Circulate in the on-unit OR for cesarean sections
• Care for postpartum and OB/GYN patients, including simple med/surg overflow (orthopedic patients) as needed
• Manage fetal monitoring and respond to obstetric emergencies in accordance with unit protocols
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage (every other weekend) and fulfill minimal on-call requirements
• Float within the unit for low-census coverage as directed (L/D to sit or task; PP rotates for low census)

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience (for L/D RN role)
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Fetal monitoring class completion within the past 2 years required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate

• Experience circulating in an OR for Labor & Delivery/cesarean sections
• Familiarity with GE Centricity and/or Meditech electronic health record systems
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care

• Work at a Joint Commission Accredited facility offering a full spectrum of women's health services in a supportive unit environment
• Located 45 miles east of Raleigh with proximity to major universities, the NC coast, and recreational destinations — an excellent opportunity to explore a vibrant region of North Carolina
