Quality Inspection II - 2nd Shift; Onsite

What You Will Do

• Work applicable written inspection procedures, drawings, and other pertinent instruction and/or approved technical data to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools, gages and other equipment, accepting material or referring for rework or quality review based on findings.
• Use fixed or variable measuring instruments where work instructions require checking dimensions and recording results.
• Perform simple mathematical computations to determine pass/fail results based on allowed tolerance.
• Follow proper procedures to perform inspection checks and verification of dimensions and ensure work instructions are being followed.
• Recognize need and arrange for repair or calibration of measuring equipment as necessary.
• Support and promote continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives.
• Maintain inspection stamp.
• Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
• Maintain flexibility around shifts for training and to maintain workflow, including overtime.

• High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a production environment.
• Proficiency with inspection procedures and dimensional inspection techniques.

• Inspection experience in a production environment.
• Basic blueprint reading ability.
• Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic shop math.
