This part time, seasonal Jewelry Consultant role is located in Wilson, NC. The Jewelry Consultant supports customers in selecting jewelry that fits their needs, occasions, and budgets while delivering a welcoming and personalized in-store experience. Daily responsibilities include greeting customers, understanding their preferences, presenting product options, and explaining features such as gemstone quality, metal types, and design details. The role involves meeting retail sales goals, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness.

The Jewelry Consultant also assists with basic jewelry care education, coordinates special orders, and collaborates with team members to ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience.

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage customers, listen actively, and build trust.
• Experience in Customer Experience and Retail Sales to support consultative selling and achieve store performance goals.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic math and point-of-sale skills for handling transactions and managing cash or credit card payments accurately.
• Attention to detail and integrity when working with valuable merchandise and confidential customer information.
• Previous retail, luxury goods, or jewelry industry experience is beneficial but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or education in sales, design, or business is a plus.
