Summary
The Manager - Group Tickets and Premium Sales will develop and implement ticket sales strategies while managing full-time sales staff to successfully sell group ticket packages and premium spaces including Group Areas, Suites, and Picnic Areas. This position will manage the group sales teams’ weekly, monthly and seasonal sales goals which includes weekly reporting and support. They will be responsible for the sale of key accounts capable of bringing large groups to the ballpark.
Plays a key role in off-season budgeting, goal setting and strategy creation for the sales team.

- Build revenue through sales of game tickets, picnics, and other food packages for businesses, organizations, schools and other groups with greater than 20 people
- Lead and manage the growth of Premium Space revenue, including Suite Packages and Group Area Events
- Maintain and grow key large corporate group accounts for picnics and group outings through prospecting and customer needs analysis
- Develop and cultivate a robust group sales pipeline of all key group sales categories located in the region.
- Assist in the strategic planning and execution of an ambitious and proactive group sales strategy.
- Participate in community events to help grow business through community interaction
- Manage and assist with various reports with/for the VP of Ticket Sales and President including but not limited to phone call reports, weekly projection reports and revenue sales reports on a weekly basis
- Assist in the daily duties of the Group Sales Department, serving as the main internal point of contact with departments such as F&B, Marketing and Operations
- Lead and contribute to any general picnic and catering discussions associated with any group booking, placement of locations for groups within the stadium, etc.
- Lead weekly Group Sales meetings
- Participate in the annual review of all Group ticket policies, benefits and procedures and make adjustments as needed
- Assist with preparing overall and individual revenue goals/road maps for Groups while managing these goals with sales staff
- Work with marketing to create group collateral and on-line promotional messages to help grow groups
- Pull tarp on field, as necessary
Directly supervises 3 Group Sales employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree (B.
A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Business hours are Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00 pm, however, additional hours will be required on weekends, evenings and some holidays.
