The Night Maintenance/Welding Technician is a full‑time, on‑site role located in the Rocky Mount–Wilson area. This role involves performing routine and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment and structures, with a strong focus on welding and fabrication tasks. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include inspecting machinery and facility components, diagnosing mechanical issues, and completing repairs using appropriate welding methods and tools. The technician will read and interpret technical drawings, measure and cut materials, and ensure welds meet quality and safety standards.

Additional duties include following safety protocols, maintaining tools and equipment, documenting work performed, and collaborating with supervisors and other team members to support continuous operations during night shifts.

• Proficiency in welding techniques, including Arc Welding, MIG Welding, and TIG Welding, with the ability to select appropriate methods for specific tasks.
• Experience working with a variety of materials, including metals commonly used in mining, industrial and commercial construction and maintenance.
• Previous mining, industrial or commercial maintenance experience, including equipment repair, fabrication, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of safety practices, including PPE use, hot work procedures, and compliance with MSHA and company safety policies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications, and to work accurately with measurements and hand/power tools.
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts including occasional overtime as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in welding or industrial maintenance are highly beneficial.
• Reliable transportation, strong work ethic, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in an industrial environment.
