About the RoleWe are seeking a Psychiatrist to provide clinical services to all clients receiving ACT team services, including but not limited to medication prescription, administration, monitoring, and documentation; directing psychopharmacological and medical services; service coordination; crisis assessment and intervention; symptom assessment and management; individual counseling and psychotherapy; substance use treatment; work‑related services; activities of daily living services; social, interpersonal relationship and leisure‑time activity services;
support services or direct assistance to ensure that individuals obtain the basic necessities of daily life; and education, support, and consultation to individuals’ families and other major supports.
- Overall supervision of all medical/clinical aspects of the services delivered.
- Identifying appropriate evidence‑based or emerging best practices therapies to be employed by staff in delivering services.
- Consulting with primary healthcare providers/other providers on the clinical aspects of the clients being served and the implications for those clients’ physical healthcare needs.
- Supervision of all other medical staff on the ACT team.
- Be available to respond as needed to ACT team members and collateral medical staff of other providers 24/7/365.
Compensation: $295,618–$379,601. Placement within the range is based on licensure level, education, and experience. This role is compensated on a salaried basis, providing consistent earnings aligned with the responsibilities and expectations of the position.
What You Can Expect- Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for individuals in the ACT program.
- Work with the ACT team to develop and support treatment plans.
- Provide clinical oversight and guidance to psychiatric staff.
- Support individuals in achieving recovery goals and maintaining community stability.
- Conduct psychiatric assessments and manage medications.
- Participate in team meetings and treatment planning.
- Provide clinical supervision and support to NPs/PAs and team members.
- Collaborate with nursing and ACT staff to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Education:
Medical Doctor. - Licensure/
Experience:
Must be a licensed psychiatrist or physician; experience with the population served is required.
