We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant I to join our Finance team. This is an entry‑level accounting position ideal for someone early in their career who wants hands‑on experience across core accounting functions.
In this role, you’ll support day‑to‑day financial operations, help maintain accurate records, and assist with financial reporting and analysis. You’ll work closely with internal teams and vendors while building a strong foundation in accounting processes and systems.

- Support key accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities
- Perform account reconciliations and prepare journal entries
- Assist with financial reporting, audit preparation, and annual financial statements
- Review financial transactions for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and policies
- Process payments and maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9s and 1099 tracking
- Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoices and payment status
- Help monitor department budgets and ensure accurate financial tracking
- Provide backup support for payroll, accounts receivable, and other finance functions
- Assist with improving processes and strengthening internal controls
- Hybrid work model:
During training, up to 3 days per week in the Wilsonville office; potential for more remote flexibility after onboarding - Standard schedule:
Monday–Friday, typically between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. - Occasional travel (1–2 overnight stays per year) may be required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
Knowledge &
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid math and analytical skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheets (Excel) and accounting systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
Education and experience requirements listed are minimum standards. Other equivalent combinations of education, certifications, training, and experience may be considered.
