Seeking tenacious Cost Accountant professional to join growing manufacturing company as a Senior Cost Accountant
. This role is part of a four-person team that supports cost allocation, analysis, reporting, and process improvement projects. As the ideal person for this role, you must have cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, alongside a Bachelors degree in Accounting, finance or related. Also, you should be a strong Excel user and enjoy digging into data and presenting findings to senior leadership.

Compensation: $100,000 - $115,000 base DOE
- 3% 401k match (immediately vested)
- 3+ weeks PTO (grows at 2 and 5 years)
- 8 holidays (grows)

Location
: on site in Wilsonville, OR area. Flexibility for appointments and occassional remote work
The Role:
- High visibility to CFO and CEO, speak to financial results and answer questions day to day.
- Focused on largest business division with cost allocation to projects and overhead
- Support cleanup and revamping of how costs are allocated
- Perform Labor cost allocation, reporting, forward looking planning
- Support bigger analysis initiatives around the "why" for certain costs, and support cost saving initiatives
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and potential software implementations
You:
- 5+/- years of overarching experience, all Accounting or Accounting and finance
- Manufacturing experience required, with heavy lean to Cost Experience.
- Highly preferred: US Government contracts experience
- Must be able to use Power Pivot, Power BI, dig into data sets.
- A business partner who will work well with business unit leaders, including folks on the manufacturing floor.
- Board ready, ability to present information to c-suite leaders
- Someone who will learn the systems but isn’t afraid to make suggestions for improvement.
