You'll work closely with accounting, property management, and operations teams while gaining valuable experience in auditing, compliance, resident accounting, and property management operations.

What You'll Do Audit Resident Accounts- Review and audit move-out files for accuracy and compliance
- Verify charges, deposits, concessions, rent amounts, and supporting documentation
- Review resident ledgers and final account statements
- Ensure documentation meets company standards and regulatory requirements
- Research account discrepancies and identify corrective actions
- Partner with property teams to resolve errors and obtain supporting documentation
- Track outstanding audit items through completion
- Support move-out revisions, stop payments, check reissues, and related account corrections
- Assist with reconciliations and reporting processes
- Maintain organized and confidential records
- Track audit trends and recurring issues
- Help improve internal processes and workflows Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with property managers, regional managers, and accounting teams
- Communicate audit findings clearly and professionally
- Support training and education efforts related to resident account documentation and move-out processes
- 1-2+ years of administrative, accounting, auditing, property management, or related experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with data, documentation, and financial information
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
- Experience with Yardi or similar property management software
- Experience with account reconciliations, audits, or financial reviews
- Property management experience
- Familiarity with lease documentation, security deposits, or resident account processes
